TIL of José Sisto, twice Governor of Guam. After the US captured the island in 1898 and left its only American citizen in charge, Sisto overthrew him and took over. A pro-US group overthrew him, but when the US returned it briefly made Sisto governor again. Found to have stolen funds, he was exiled.
